Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss has been a country artist for more than 30 years. She was born in Decatur, Illinois on the 23rd day of July in 1971. She and LeAnn Kymes were among the youngest winners of the Grammy Award. Alison Maria Krauss (born July 23rd, 1971) is an American bluegrass-country singer and musician. Alison Maria Krauss started her career in music early, winning local competitions at the age of 10. She recorded for the first recording at the age fourteen. When she was 14, she debuted her debut solo album following signing with Rounder Records. She was a part of the group which she continues to perform, Alison Krauss Union Station. The group released their debut album in 1989.
