Kelly Clarkson (American singer/songwriter) is a popular American following her win on American Idol's first season. It brought her to the spotlight and secured her an agreement with RCA Records 19 Recordings, as well as 'S Records. Since then she has released many studio albums, three of which topped the US Billboard 200' chart and the rest of her albums just did not make it to the top. She was among America's top performers. She experimented as she gained popularity with diverse musical and theme styles, often writing her own songs. Her uniqueness and vocal ability earned her critical acclaim along with a host of important award. She has been the most notable winner of the Grammy Award three times. Alongside her career in music, she has appeared in films as well as television programs. River Rose and the Magical Lullaby is her book for children. Additionally, she has been active in charity work as well as numerous other organisations.
