Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on October 28 1967 to Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. Her grandfather, her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer, was one of the first Roberts to arrive in Atlanta. Her father was interested in theatre at an early time. While he was a pupil in Emory University from 1952 to 1954, he was a part of numerous shows. He joined the Air Force, and was stationed at Biloxi in Mississippi, he acted in a production together with Betty Lou Bredemus. In 1955, they got married and in 1956 their child Eric Anthony was born. Walter attended Tulane University New Orleans Louisiana after he left the Airforce in 1957. Walter worked with Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. In 1960, the couple relocated in Decatur Georgia. Walter and Betty Lou produced a Saturday morning local television show for children named Bum Bum and His Buddies in 1964. This was a project that they funded themselves. In 1964, Betty Lou and Walter founded The Actors and Writers Workshop. It lasted for six years. They welcomed in 1965 two new children: Lelisa Billingsley and Julia Billingsley.
