Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born into an ethnically diverse family. The mother of her child is English and her father Nigerian. She was born in the South London Council Estate. She was a student at The Brit School aged 14. She attended an academy called the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London which she graduated with a BA in acting. She was on stage in numerous productions during her time at school like the King Henry V, as Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights, as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe first began her acting career with Storm Damage. In the years since, Madekwe has appeared in Teachers and Doctors. Her first role in a film was in Woody Allen's 2007 Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. In the wake of that film's success her role was Elisha in the single-episode BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN, and appeared in six episodes of Trexx and Flipside in the role of Ollie. In 2008, Madekwe landed Bambi as the main character on ITV2's drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe made an appearance in the comedy feature film How to Lose Friends & Affect People. Her credits in theatre includes Little Sweet Thing or Roy Williams as well as Flight Path of David Watson.
Madekwe's US debut was in 2009 when she appeared on The thriller The Beautiful Life. The drama aired for just two episodes before being ended on The CW. Ashley Davenport was her role in the ABC drama Revenge. Madekwe's departure from the series was confirmed in May 2013. After a period of two years as a main character, she was a guest in the first episode of season three. The actress played Tituba on the television show Salem from 2014 to 2016. Madekwe got married to her long-time partner, Iddo. They collaborated on Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Goldberg also appeared with her on Salem.

Ashley Leggat, a twice Gemini nominated actress, was raised in a big family from Hamilton, Ontario. Four of her older brothers were present as well and included twins Todd & Bram, Brett & Rob. Ashley's brothers were all extremely athletic and played baseball and hockey during the winter as well as in the summer. They grew up playing the arenas and baseball. Ashley could never walk, but she danced. When she turned two-and-a-half she began Baby Ballet and fell in the love. It was then that she discovered Ashley's interest in dance. Ashley competed in top-level divisions in jazz, tap ballet, hip hop, Acrobatics, Lyrical Musical Theatre and pointe until she graduated in high school. Top soloists at big competitions, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and many more were awarded to Ashley.
